Presenting Yourself Positively
– Successful Applications & Interviews

The day will be informative, practical and interactive offering a high level of support and feedback from the group and facilitators. You are invited to bring specific concerns and needs with you and we will be focusing on current and potential applications. There will be a mix of input, practice, individual guidance, group discussion, paired activity and peer support. The group size is limited to 6 with both Meg and Eve facilitating.
Objectives
As a result of this day you will have:
- Greater knowledge and understanding of how to present yourself positively on paper and at interview
- Practised the skills of effective self-presentation, in writing and in person
- Drafted an action plan to get you through the selection process successfully
Programme
The day will include sessions on the following:
- What makes a written application successful?
- Drafting a great CV and letter of application
- Essential preparation for interviews
- Performing well at interview
