Stepping up to Senior Leadership
This programme is for women middle leaders considering or aspiring to senior leadership. It includes:
- The demands of senior leadership and how to meet those demands creatively
- Understanding and working with power dynamics and politics
- Enhancing personal skills and interpersonal effectiveness to confidently manage the challenges of your current and future roles
- Overview of the recruitment process and how to successfully navigate it
- Ongoing career planning
Challenging Headteacher Stereotypes
This programme aims to release leadership potential and access a wider pool of headteachers.
We target long-serving and effective women senior leaders whose career paths have not traditionally prepared them for headship.
- Consultancy services to Local Authorities to expand the potential recruitment pool
- Training events for governors and officers to recruit beyond the stereotypes
- Training and support for potential women headteachers to assist them through the recruitment process
- Collaboration on conference development to raise and explore diversity issues in relation to succession planning
- Keynote speeches and workshop delivery
School Leadership as Service
We are seeking to work collaboratively with dioceses and other religious organisations to develop and deliver a leadership programme which:
- Actively explores the belief in school leadership as Service
- Encourages more women to think about school leadership as a viable career choice
- Provides practical strategies to support them into the role
